Thank you for asking Yuri.
It is worth four demerit points on your driver’s license if you get convicted of a traffic signal or stop sign in the state of Nevada . It does not give you any demerit points if you drive without insurance however it does come with penalties.
Nevada requires that all registered motor vehicles have minimum liability insurance coverage of 15/30/10. If the insurance coverage lapse while registration is still in effect, the NV Department of Motor Vehicles may suspend the car registration. This will also come with a charge a $250 reinstatement fee.
You may be required to file a SR-22 with the DMV to reinstate your driving privileges since you have your license suspended because of the recent violation . The period of required coverage begins when you reinstate your license.
There is no time limit or statue of limitation on the requirements for the SR-22 insurance in the state of Nevada. If you fail to maintain coverage during the required period, your driver license will be suspended or revoked. To get more information on what the penalties will be for your tickets, you may contact the court listed on your citation.
Goodluck!
