Will I be able to get sr22 insurance in Las Vegas if you get caught driving without car insurance? I just got a DUI and will need DUI friendly car insurance here now.

The state of Nevada mandates that all registered cars have minimum liability insurance coverage of 15/30/10. If the car insurance coverage lapse or cancelled, the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles may suspend your license. You may also be charged of a reinstatement fee of $250.
You may be mandated to file a SR-22 auto insurance with the Department of Motor Vehicle to restore your driving license since you have your license revoked due to the recent conviction. The period of required coverage begins when you reinstate your license.
There is no statue of limitation on the requirements for the SR-22 insurance in the state of Nevada. Failure to carry and maintain coverage when you are still required to carry it will result to suspension of your drivers license.
